Shared Journey Fertility Program

A gentle and extremely effective approach to a conscious conception

What is Mercier Therapy?

Mercier Therapy is a deep pelvic organ visceral manipulative technique in which the reproductive organs are mobilized, and blood flow restored. Organ restrictions are relieved, and movement replenished amongst the organs and surrounding structures to enhance their natural and most optimal function.

Infertility is defined as the inability to conceive after one year of unprotected intercourse for women 34 and younger (or six months for women 35 and older).  Fertility treatments can be emotionally and, sometimes, financially exhausting with minimal results.  In 2014, IVF average success rates were a mere 29.4% for pregnancy with a live birth rate of 22.4%.

We highly recommend that you prepare your body properly prior to starting a medically assisted fertility cycle (IUI & IVF).  In many cases, we may help you figure out “WHY” you may not be conceiving naturally.  Midwest Center for Health & Wellness offers Mercier Therapy as an alternative to traditional fertility treatments and as a means of increasing the effectiveness of in vitro fertilization (IVF).

In September 2012, Mercier Therapy completed a 4-year study, which showed an 83% pregnancy success rate within one year of finishing the program.
The study was published in
Midwifery Today’s Spring 2013 journal.
